If you'd rather stream music instead of download it, Jamendo gives you that option, too. You can also browse via playlists, like "Cool Instrumentals," "Chill Zone," "Fresh & New," and "Time To Dream." When you find a song or artist you like, you can download that single track or the entire album. You can discover new music by viewing the most popular music and the songs that trending. The Latest music filter lets you see recently added songs, and you can search for artists that you know to see if their music is available for download.Īnother way to find great music here is by listening to one of the site's radio channels.

Just bare that in mind. All the free music downloads at Jamendo Music are made available through Creative Commons licensing, meaning that the artists themselves have decided they want to give out their music for free for anyone to enjoy. Some themes are uploaded elsewhere, like Github tho. Although keep in mind, that if you want to get them, some of them are uploaded straight to Playnite's Forum's servers, and to download, you need to sign up. Plus, I think that it's just a small nitpick, and I think it can be overshadowed by the numerous amounts of themes avaliable for Playnite. I didn't have much issue with the grid layout, I feel like, that the small customization that's given in fullscreen Playnite is alright.

And again, adding non-Steam games to it is a pain. Yes, there is Steam's Big Picture, but it's not quite as good as Playnite. I was really disappointed when I found that it doesn't have a Linux client, which I found when I briefly switched. I would love to see this go to macOS, or better yet Linux. My only major issue is that it's Windows only. So when I searched for alternatives, of course I found Playnite and ever since I started using it, it became my go to for a game launcher, with big picture mode. And while LaunchBox is awesome once you pay for it, it's just too expensive for a game launcher, and I really wanted a big picture mode. CleverFaunus's Experience I have previously used the free tier of LaunchBox.
